this citation from Steven Spielberg actually tells you everything about what a premium sound design can effect. It is the very foundation of our philosophy. In equal measure this applies to radio drama productions where the sound layer significantly creates and fires the imagination and fantasy of the auditor.
Intex Digital Sound was founded by Alexander Theodossiadis in 1998. Meanwhile, there are apprentices, trainees and several freelancers. We offer sound engineers, boom operators, whole sound recording teams as well as a remarkable sound archive of all genres for feature films, commercials, radio, internet and radio plays.
Theodossiadis surely owns his skilled and perfect pitch not least to his classical Cello instruction and is a member of the German Sound Engineers Association (VDT). He worked on national and international feature film sets (e.g the US production "Buffalo Soldiers" aka "Army Go Home" with Joaquin Phoenix) but also was working for the German First Channel TV as sound engineer at live shows. On March 1st, 2004, he was awarded an instructor´s license for the profession "Digital Media Designer for Moving Pictures & Sound".
Starting in 2007 we are additionally working in the field of film production - through our many years at movie sets and our grown experience that was the next logical step in our evolution. We are equipped with the necessary know-how, the appropriate staff and the hippest equipment: Shooting, editing, color correction, adding sound & re-recording and composing from a single source.
So we carried out the production of the plurally priced and honored documentary film "Drehmomente" which was produced due to the 100th anniversary of Renault.

Also with great pleasure we produce the official event DVDs and the corresponding commercials for the yearly major events "FedCon" and "RingCon" (www.fedcon.de and www.ringcon.de), Europe's biggest science-fiction and fantasy conventions with thousands of visitors every year. Starting in 2007 we take care of the live video in the main hall and the event DVDs/commercials with up to twelve cameras.

Our studio is located in the city center of Mannheim.
